Welcome...
Invicta Fencing Club is a newly formed club based at the Sandwich Guildhall and features all three weapons (Foil, Epee and Sabre). We welcome both male and female fencers of all ages, from beginners to those aspiring towards regional and national competitions.
The club meets at the Sandwich Guildhall (see 'Finding/Contacting Us') on Wednesday evenings between 5.30pm and 10.00pm. The club operates all year round and the current fees are £6 per night (£10 for non members) for members and a membership fee of £25 per year (including a club membership pack). Parking at the venue is plentiful and free after 5pm.
All fencers have an individual lesson from one of the qualified coaches and are able to train and fence using steam or electric on one of the club boxes. In addition to individual fencing lessons all members can take part in group footwork and/or fitness sessions under the guidance of one of the coaches.
The coaching team comprises of Kate Morwell-Neave (Foil and Epee) and Grant Dickenson (Sabre). For more detailed information on either coach please see the 'Coaches' page.
The club activly promotes fitness through fencing and also offers private tuition if desired (please contact one of the coaching staff). Tailored competition programmes are also arranged for fencers wanting to compete in order to maximise exposure to suitable competitions at appropriate levels in an effort to further enhance club member's fencing progress.

To be honest I have not done a lot of fenching, but this article made me really curious. Since I am in the weight loss business, I think this will not only be an effective exercise, it will defineatly be fun as well. Let's spread the word of fenching and inculde it in our weight loss and fitness tools!
